Awaken the Talent in You
By Juliet Rogers, Sierra Leone
Talent is life’s invaluable resource which is inborn in every person. For one to effectively harness it, one must vigorously invest in one’s creative intelligence.
Identify that talent in you before your eyes become heavy and go off. It is only when you discover your talents that you will see the hidden opportunities that lie before you. You are fighting for opportunities that seem far from you just because your talents are blurred and yet undiscovered. I therefore implore you to identify and unlock your talents in order to realise your hidden opportunities and to make good use of your virtues.
Ponder these words:
“We need no one’s permission but ours to harness our talents judiciously in order to succeed in life. Diamonds and gold are brought out of the darkness and into the light through prospecting and by perseverance.”
Your hidden potentials have a divine purpose. There is power to bring you to Prosperity. You only need to extract the potentials, fulfill God’s purpose and prosper. Don’t waste more time worrying about it. Don’t waste more time thinking about it. Use your time wisely and do what you are called to do. Fulfill your purpose. Use your gifts, skills and talents to advance your life and change the world. Use your power to prosper. Step into it. Get committed to it. Go and get what belongs to you. (1)
What’s your own gift or your innate talent?
Which unique talent or skill can make you special?
What particular attribute are you good at?
Are you sharing it with the rest of the world?
What are you waiting for?
The world needs what you have. Go and share the gift yourself!
In the words of Michael Bernard Beckwith: “We are unlimited beings. We have no ceiling. The capabilities and the talents and the gifts and the power that is within every single individual that is on this planet, is unlimited.” (2)
In the meantime, reflect on these words:
“The very best way to develop yourself is in the direction of your natural talents and interest.” (3)
Admonition:
Matthew 11:12 charges us:
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
This is a true statement that unless you strive assidiously to identify and use your God’s- given talent, you will perish because of lack of knowledge and you will fall a prey to the devil whose desire is to kill, steal and destory. As God’s children, we are to unlock our talents by allowing God’s-given treasures to be used in all spheres of our lives for the betterment of society.
Hello, the whole thing is going well here and of course every one is sharing
facts, that’s truly excellent, keep up writing.
