Passion is the crux of the Matter

By Juliet Rogers, Sierra Leone,

Passion has always been the zeal that ignites a prudent person’s ability to work out a purpose.

It is an axiom that if you go beyond what your eyes can see and believe it, you are definitely bound to achieve your naturally built intuition.

You should strive to become acquainted with your dreams. Strive to comprehend your daunting obstacles and take cognitive appreciations on yourself as you overcome them. Without equivocation, it is never expedient for you to only restrict yourself around images that are visible to the eyes. Enter into your feelings, and evoke that which is invisible to the eyes and make it visible to every race.

Ponder this adage: “If you enter the dark side of life, and come through it, you emerge with more strength and passion.” (1)

In sober earnestness, passion is one of the best and greatest ways to get things done. Keep it alive, and things will be done in the right way. With passion, anything you plan to do will be done with ease and excitement, no matter how long it will take you.

The phones, internet, and the other technologies we use or see today were at one time neither used nor seen. Those who invented them worked with some passion toward their invisible ideas with unshakable faith! And today, you and I are enjoying them with extreme desires.

My family and friends, brothers and sisters, do not look down upon your idea[s]. Put faith in it and or them! No matter how small the idea[s] might look. I tell you this, never sap the foundations of your small ideas, because if you diligently work on those small ideas; they might make you a big person in society. Billionaires do not find success on their own; they use their passion to inspire and energize others and drive forward. “Without passion, you don’t have energy; without energy, you have nothing,” said Donald Trump, who has called business his greatest passion. “Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion.”

In the meantime, reflect on these words:

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” (2)

Are you passionate for the right reason and for a genuine cause?

Are you passionate about your dreams to impact lives positively?

Are you working on your passion?

As a young person, how are you harnessing the storm of passion within you?

Admonition: Desire being the starting point of all achievement, passion being the fuel that keeps desire going. Passion keeps your purpose alive, so when your purpose is blended with desire and passion they have the effect of taking over your thoughts & life and creating a beautiful elixir for success.

In accordance with a study in psychology, passion lights up the amygdale region of the human brain to release happy hormones like Dopamine. Hence, as Ferdinand Foch, A French Military Strategist wrote: “The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.”

Over and above that, I beseech you to get passionate and feel alive about all that concerns you!

Passion can make you to degrade a mountain without feeling the pains of such a humongous task. It makes you to travel the road that is less traveled. Passion brings out the patience in a man and makes him not to take ‘no’ for an answer and stubborn to take failure as the final result. It was passion that propelled Thomas Edison to try a thousand times before he could achieved the highest success of his epoch in the world of reasoning (science).
