The Hustlers Rhetoric
Without undermining the ability of political organizations to influence on lives, today, we have heard ideologies that would seem to me, directly opposed to the desires of men and women who fought to death so that the nation (Kenya)could live.
I’m particularly dismayed by the misinterpretation of ‘hustler’ to depict a casual labourer, one relentless in expansion and growth, fending by honest means.
I think the hustler nation, albeit within the rightful aspiration to form government, may first need to align its defining principles as a sect, to conform to the national values encoded in the laws governing the sovereign state of Kenya.
Mark Logue, a film maker deciphers that “there is a mistaken idea that ‘hustle’ implies achievement, whereas it really means a wrong use of energy and impedes beauty”.
In the quest to create a ‘hustler’ nation, hustlers would unite to create but a lawless society.
The hustling ideology adopted and embraced, would swerve the country from its trajectory of order and plunge it into chaos.
Since one symptom of bad energy, being a tendency to breed restlessness, intolerance and defiance among members.
It would thence be deduced that
rebellion among the youth would soar. Hence, left unclarified and abandoned to gain momentum, the conversation around a hustler nation, would catalyse the desire for gang protection among the youth; or among leaders of tomorrow as oftentimes averred.
Consequently, it remains the obligation of leaders under oath of office, as well as of discerning Patriots of the republic, to exercise their collective will towards ensuring unanimous obedience, enforcement and realization of the supreme laws founded by the precincts of national values.
Even greater a responsibility it remains, to groups of people seeking to form government.
To inwardly interrogate the powers steering their ambitions.
A government of hustlers, rather than enabling, shall infringe upon the social, economic and political rights of its subjects.
And owing to the aggressive nature of its composition, culminate into a government that does not fulfill promises. Or one which does not make promises shattered by the fear of breaking them.
Thus guidance from such ideologies as hustler, can sow seeds of discord, discontent and dissatisfaction among citizens.
I humbly wish it could be revoked, the adulation of hustling as a mentality, and the chanting of hustler as a mantra, for hustlers are never guided by laws but by ambitions, they are stopped by nothing but God. Interesting times indeed, when hustlers openly seek to create a most loving and tender government.
